Don't worry if the ATM card is lost or stolen, call the customer care and block the card.
The ATM card is one of our daily necessities. But if it gets lost or stolen somewhere, it gets worried and many people are unaware of what to do in that situation. The most concerned is if the ATM or debit card is stolen or lost, it does not fall into the wrong hands because if the card falls into the hands of a wrong person, all the money in one click is in danger of going to the wrong place.
Don't worry if the ATM card is lost or stolen. But first you have to call Customer Care. Missing card details will be required by calling Customer Care. The card will then have to be blocked to be notified. As soon as the card is blocked, the corresponding message will appear in your mobile.
You can apply for another card after the card is blocked. For this you can use both online and offline. After applying, the card will come to your address and some banks will give you the card immediately.
Another way to block cards
From the Internet Banking Portal, you can block direct card by hot listing or going to branch. Nowadays the bank is offering a new facility. One of them is the Mobile Banking App, which allows Customer to manually block or unblock the card as needed.
Report the police immediately if the card is lost. Confirm that your old card has been blocked after the new card has been issued so that no one can misuse your debit card. Some private banks have started issuing debit cards that do not require a debit card PIN to withdraw money. Money can be withdrawn simply by swiping the card. But a limit has been fixed for this facility. Only Rs 20,000 or Rs 50,000 can be withdrawn at a time.
